Our humble beginnings - As a young boy, Dan began helping his neighbor with his yard work. What started out as casual interest, soon became strong enthusiasm and Dan continued until it was time for him to leave to pursue a higher education.

The years passed. After struggling with his choice of a more traditional career path, Dan decided to return to his true passion of landscaping. He enhanced his knowledge and added to what he had learned as a young boy, by enrolling in related courses of study at Kishwaukee College and Rock Valley College, finishing his formal education at the University of Madison, WI.

Upon graduation, he was recommended to the Rockford Park District and was hired as a sub-contractor of Magic Waters. While there, some of the clients that he had worked for while attending college in Rockford, heard he had returned to the area and he soon began to develop the commercial and private customer base that founded Wolfe Landscaping.
